How To Tone Down Brightly Colored Cardstock With Vintage Photo Distress Ink

Good morning all, ElenaK here! What a great weekend we had over at KennyK Stamps! We just celebrated our 1,000th follower on our fan Facebook page Club KennyK! An achievement we would not have accomplished so quickly without the help of two very special people, Regan Giangrande and Lucy Gregg, our Facebook Administrators and DT Coordinators! Thank you ladies for all your hard work and support.  You have been there for us all hours, day and night, we owe it all to you!!!! Like the saying goes, “You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with”.

Tips and Tricks D.Lewis

Hello everyone, Dawn Lewis here. This card was so fun to make!  My best tip to tone down brightly coloured cardstock is to ink over it with a neutral tone.  Seriously … Vintage Photo Distress Ink is the first colour I ever bought, and the one I still use most, and I still haven’t had to reink it yet!  You can watch along with every step in the video below, and if you want to get your own After Party digital stamp, just CLICK HERE.

August 2016 Hottie of the Month-7

Please congratulate our August Hottie of the month Elena F Scrap of Scrap-Lanak Ganbaran! Elena’s Mermaid card design and coloring won her the title! Love how her mermaid tail goes from hot pink to orange and her hair is gorgeously colored. When a few of our DT found out it was Elena that won the title, they expressed she is not only talented, but a sweetheart as well! Yay, Elena!

Thank you, Elena, for sharing your projects with us! Congrats Hottie!!
